The Defence T-shirt Co by AVAC Services

The Defence T-shirt Co started small — as a handful of shirts designed for our clients.

We're AVAC Services, an Australian advocacy and wellbeing organisation owned and operated by Veterans, that helps current and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force navigate their DVA journey. Over the years, working closely with veterans and serving members, we started designing t-shirts for our clients — a bit of humour and mateship to lighten what can be a long and difficult process.

Clients kept asking for more, and their families wanted in too. Before long, word had spread through the wider defence community. It turned out these shirts were about more than a laugh — they gave people a way to feel understood, and to share something only those who've served really get.

So we launched The Defence T-shirt Co — Army, Navy, and Air Force designs, created by AVAC Services, for the people we've had the privilege of working alongside every day.

Every design comes from real conversations, real service, and real humour. When you buy a shirt, you're supporting the same organisation that's been helping veterans with their DVA claims for years — and helping us keep doing that work for others.
